I have been successfully practicing my profession as a podiatrist with great enthusiasm for several years now. In addition to my mobile practice (home visits), I was able to use my know-how for many years in the Babor Beauty Spa in Schinznach Bad.

Podiatry What do you do if you have discomfort when walking, if your shoe pinches, if your nails have grown in or if you have other problems with your feet? As a podiatrist I am at your disposal for all these questions.

The word "podology" is derived from the Greek "podos" (the foot) and "logie" (the teaching). Podiatry is the non-medical healing of the foot and is located in the medical apron. Podiatrists treat your healthy or diseased feet preventively, therapeutically and rehabilitatively with nursing measures, but not in the sense of cosmetics. It is a profession that requires a license and is subject to the cantonal health authorities.

Who comes to the podiatry practice?

People of all ages who wish to have well-groomed feet, notice a change in their feet, and have acute or chronic pain. The focus is on the treatment of high-risk patients such as:

• rheumatism patients
• Patients with vascular diseases

Thus, podiatrists are an important interface between doctor and patient.

Of course, we also care for healthy feet professionally.
