Nail extension In nail extension (or natural nail extension), the nail is extended with a light-curing gel, which is applied to a so-called tip (artificial nail tip) or a template. The nail is built up in different gel layers. First, an adhesive is applied (which ensures that the gel layer adheres well), which settles on the natural nail layer and does not penetrate the cuticle. This is followed by one or more gel layers. Finally, a sealing layer is applied. This not only protects and makes the nail modeling last, but also gives it the final touch.

With My Passion Nails by Hoffmeister, the gel is hardened with LED lamps, the latest generation of hardening lamps.

The nails obtained in this way (gel nails) are more resistant and stable. They can also be modeled in any shape (pointed, oval to round, square or rounded).

Nail lengthening is performed not only on healthy nails, but also on broken or "bitten" nails (when the nail bed is deep in the skin) and thus serves to repair these damaged nails.

Nail reinforcement Nail strengthening (or natural nail strengthening) involves coating the nail with a light-curing gel without changing the shape and length of the nail.

Filling Underfilling means nail preservation or nail strengthening. Regular refilling (ideally once a month, depending on nail growth) keeps the aesthetics of gel nails perfect.
